Donell Jones “Karma (Payback)”

R&B legend, Donell Jones oozes sexiness and suavè in the new visual for his single,  “Karma (Payback).”  The music video debuted on BET Soul on March 5th and continued to air at the top of each hour.  The song samples the track “Payback Is A Dog” from 70’s R&B group, The Stylistics.  “Karma” is the lead single from Donell‘s new album, 100% Free – a gift of music that he offered to his fans for free on his website to promote peace, and provide music relief from the stresses many have faced in the wake of a world pandemic.  The album is also available for purchase with 25% of all proceeds going to National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

In the music video, shot by G-Visuals, the R&B superstar shares with his friends fellow R&B artists, Carl Thomas, RL, and Jacquees that he has discovered that his girl is cheating on him.   The dapper gentlemen continue their night out with  friends, cigars and some Chicago stepping that later ends with Donell serving up his own – ‘payback.’
