Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and actor, Tyrese is back with a new album titled, Beautiful Pain.
The new project is released via his label Voltron Recordz in partnership with Create Music Group. The indie-released double album is a deeply personal project that chronicles the aftermath of Tyrese’s 2020 divorce, and also includes a tribute to his late mother, Priscilla Murray Gibson, who passed away from complicatons due to COVID in 2022.
The album contains 17 tracks, including the previously shared single “Don’t Think You Ever Loved,” featuring Lenny Kravitz and Le’Andria Johnson, and his latest single, “Wildflower.” The project also include features from Tamar Braxton, El DeBarge, Eric Dawkins, Kenny G, and October London on the sexy track, “Bedroom Bully.”
Tyrese also stars as Mercer in the new Snoop Dogg executive-produced crime thriller 1992, where his character tries to rebuild the relationship with his son admidst the turbulent 1992 Los Angeles uprising following the Rodney King verdict. The movie also co-stars the late, Ray Liotta and Scott Eastwood. 1992 is currently playing in theaters.
