The R&B Hitmaker Is Back After A Three-Year Hiatus With A New Ballad
R&B artist, multi-Grammy winner and super-producer The-Dream is back with a new single released in conjunction with his 46th birthday on September 20 entitled, “Stream (V7 Demo Archive 9.20).”
“Stream” is the first release since The-Dream’s 2020 album, SXTP4. Though he has not released music for himself since then, he has been busy working on other projects including Beyonce‘s Renaissance album where he recently won three Grammy‘s for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album (Renaissance), Best R&B Song (“Cuff It”), and Best Dance/Electronic Recording (“Break My Soul”). He also contributed to Diddy‘s latest album, The Love Album: Off The Grid.
On The-Dream‘s new single, “Stream” he laments of a love lost singing, “It’s a cold world without you in it/ All we gotta do is get past the beginning/ It’s a dangerous world without you in it/ Love isn’t about how you start, but how you finish… I loved you at first sight.”
The-Dream is scheduled to perform at the forthcoming ONE Musicfest in Atlanta on October 29, 2023. The new single. “Stream” is available now on all streaming and download platforms.
