Tamika Scott Releases Visual for “Tonite”

The New Single Features Hip Hop Legend, Method Man

R&B legend Tamika Scott is stepping out on her own and we’re all here for it!

The singer who for more than two decades performed as one-fourth of platinum selling R&B group, Xscape has just released a new solo single entitled, “Tonite.”  Scott adds her silky vocals over  Nas‘ hit single, “One Mic” and for added measure, she tapped sexy Hip Hop legend, Method Man to feature on the song.

Tamika shared  about the song:

“I took the track and wrote a R&B anthem for the ladies. I felt the need to be the voice for all the hardworking women in the world. This song is for housewives, career women, adults in school and every hardworking woman grinding and working hard to be successful like myself.”

The new music video is directed by Picture Perfect and co-executive produced by James “Aggie” Barrett and Darnell Winston.  Tamika most recently appeared on Bravo‘s  SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B  where she was joined by her group members:  Kandi Burruss-Tucker, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and her sister LaTocha Scott-Bivens; along with SWV members: Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Leanne “Lelee” Lyons and Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George.

The new single, “Tonite” is currently available on all digital streaming platforms.
