Sy’Rai Smith Shares New Single
Sy’Rai Smith has released a new single entitled, “Not About You.” The singer/songwriter/influencer is the daughter of legendary R&B artist/actress, Brandy Norwood and she’s already proving to have inherited her mom’s incredible vocal talent!
Sy’Rai first shared her gift with the world on the 2020 single, “At Your Best (You Are Loved)” – her version of the song originally performed by the late R&B artist and actress, Aaliyah. The beauty and style influencer have also made appearances on songs with her mother, including on Brandy‘s debut Christmas album, Christmas With Brandy on the song, “Christmas Gift.”

On the beautiful new ballad, “Not About You,” produced by Todd Bergman, Sy’Rai sings of putting herself first and finding a love that’s perfect for herself. She sings, “Hear me when I say I loved you, more than anything / Did everything for you, put you before my needs/ I needed to find you to find what I was worth/ It’s not about you… it’s not about him, it’s about me and I’m all that I need.”
