BET Series Encore Presents New Female R&B Supergroup, BluPrint
Fans of 90’s and 2000’s R&B girl groups were glued to the television for the BET series Encore. The show was comprised of members of groups Cherish, 3LW, TotalBlaque, 702, Danity Kane and solo artist, Nivea with the goal of creating a supergroup. The show, produced by Carlos King, required the ladies to live together where they were given a limited window to form a cohesive group. The preparation included intense vocal training, dance classes and relentless commitment!
Creative differences and division among some of the ladies meant not all of the cast made it to the finish line — however; sisters, Felisha and Fallon King (Cherish), Shamari DeVoe (Blaque), Kiely Williams (3LW) and Pamela Long (Total) appears to have made the final cut. The result? BluPrint.
The ladies of of BluPrint have released their debut EP of the same name. The six-song project contains production and writing from Kosine, Elijah Blake as well as the girls from the group.
