R&B Duo GAWD Shares Video for “Two Hot”
The Alternative R&B Duo Will Release Their New EP. Cathedral City In September
Alternative R&B newcomers, GAWD consisting of members, Alayna Rogers and Alana Linsey recently shared a new single called, “Two Hot.”
GAWD which is an acronym for Good Ass Women Deserve — is a celebration of Black womanhood. The talented duo emerged during the pandemic with a bang! Their debut disco R&B single, “Waistside,” along with a sold out debut performance in Los Angeles, quickly thrust them into the spotlight.
Alana is a native of Los Angeles, CA while Alayna hails from Memphis, TN. The ladies have toured alongside Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals and have opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their latest single follows their April 2022 release, “Fyre.”
The visual for the new single, “Two Hot” was directed by madebyJAMES (City James) with production by Raedio and Jino Jinowat. The ladies who counts the Jones Girls, Pharrell and Donna Summer among their music inspiration, will be sharing more of their genre-bending sound via an upcoming EP entitled, Cathedral City, due for release on September 8th, 2023.
