PREMIERE: James Worthy “In The Dark”

Appearing here on AMN MAGAZINE for the first time is the brand new single from producer, singer and songwriter, James Worthy entitled, “In The Dark.”

The new song is the first official single from Worthy from his much anticipated debut studio album Once A Fairytale slated for release in the summer of 2021. The song speaks on the fictional, and non-fictional displays of making love “In The Dark” as a metaphor— intriguing listeners to spice up their relationships by going beyond the norms of typical romance.

Worthy’ joined fellow R&B artist, J. Holiday on last year’s hit single, “Goldmine.” James first teased the collaboration between him and Holiday with a post on Instagram in July 2020, and the song was released on August 7th of 2020.  He also released a seven-song EP last year entitled, Kaleidoscopes.

A young impressionable James began his musical journey at age 11 after meeting the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson backstage at Webster Hall.  The recording artist, songwriter, record producer, and musician who hails from Queens, New York, has worked with artists such as Justin Bieber, 6LACK, Truth Hurts, Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, Fetty Wap, PM Dawn, J. Holiday, Drag-On, Kurupt, Frankie Beverly, Robin S, and countless others.

The new single, “In The Dark” is available today, April 2, via all digital and streaming platforms.
