Olivia Releases New Album ‘You Are’
The New Album Is Olivia’s First In Over 20 Years
Singer and songwriter, Olivia Longott is back with a new album after over two decades titled, You Are.
The title track is a beautiful tribute to her late mother who passed away from Parkinson’s disease. Released on August 30th, the album’s date also marked Olivia‘s mother’s birthday.
The former First Lady of G-Unit Records has shared about the new album: “This album is a breath of fresh air! It encapsulates my best work yet; a fusion of elements from my roots in Reggae to the infectious rhythms of Afrobeat.”
The project follows a single, “Solo” by Ghanaian artist, KiDi on which Olivia was featured. The singer’s last solo single, “Permission” was released in 2022.
Olivia‘s new album, You Are is currently available via all digital streaming platforms.
