The Talented Singer Released His Album ‘The Rebirth of Marvin’ Earlier This Year
Singer and songwriter, October London, is one of the most brilliant new R&B artists out today! October, who is signed to legendary record label Death Row, has a nostalgic sound that takes listeners back to a time when celebrating lovers and love music was the standard.
In February this year, October released a stellar album entitled, The Rebirth of Marvin. The album was an ode to the greatest male R&B singer ever —the late, great Marvin Pentz Gaye! While it’s fair to say that there will never be another Marvin Gaye, one might be convinced otherwise listening to the sounds of October London. In fact, if one closed their eyes and just listened to tracks like his latest single, “Back To Your Place,” they might be convinced that they’re hearing Gaye.
October has expressed that it was never his intention to try and recreate something that Marvin started, but instead, he only wanted to pay tribute to one of his favorite artists— we think that he did Marvin proud! The Rebirth of Marvin consists of eleven tracks and was completely written and produced by October London.
