The R&B Icons Will Be Joined By New Kids On The Block at the 2021 American Music Awards
All six members of R&B quintet, New Edition — Ralph Tresvant, Ricky Bell, Bobby Brown, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe and Johnny Gill are set to take the stage at this year’s American Music Awards which will air on ABC on Sunday, November 21, at 8 p.m. EST.
The R&B icons will be joined by fellow boy band, New Kids On The Block. The two-time AMA winners are also gearing up for a 2022 reunion tour and the kickoff to their first-ever Las Vegas residency in January 2022, as reported by their new agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
New Edition has released more than six platinum-selling studio albums that have included iconic hits, “Candy Girl,” “Mr. Telephone Man,” “Can You Stand The Rain,” and “If This Isn’t Love” to name a few. The guys last peformed at the American Music Awards in 1997 following their double-platinum 1996 album, Home Again. The 2021 American Music Awards will be hosted by Cardi B.
