Monica Shares Visual for New Single “Friends”
The New Single Features Ty Dolla $Ign and Released Via Her MonDeenise Music Inc. Label
R&B legend, Monica, has teamed up with singer and rapper, Ty Dolla $ign on her first single in two years entitled, “Friends.” The acoustic track was produced by Tasha Catour.
Monica, who debuted the new song last month during her performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk concert, just shared the visual for the song. The music video, shot in a desert setting, was directed by Sarah McColgan. “Friends” is the latest single from Monica’s upcoming album Trenches, due this fall via her own label, MonDeenise Music. The hit-making singer is also recording her first Country album Open Roads, which will be executive produced by Brandi Carlile.
