Mashonda Releases New EP ‘Note To Self’
The Singer and Songwriter Has Also Shared The Music Video for Her Single, “Complicated“
Singer/Songwriter Mashonda just shared her new EP entitled, Note to Self via her Tifrere Music label with distribution by Beatroot.
The EP contains five songs including the previously released, “Forbidden Fruit” and “Positive Distraction.” Mashonda has also released the latest single, “Complicated” with an accompanying music video.
The singer has shared her excitement about releasing new music stating:
“This project is a return to my first love, music, on my terms. Note to Self is a diary that explores the navigation of love and pain and the transformation that comes with that journey. Every word of this EP is inspired by my personal experiences through the human emotions that come with love.” – Mashonda
On the new EP, Mashonda shares her journey navigating the many lessons that she’s learned about love. The songs on the new project were co-written and co-produced by Mashonda and The Millennials.
The singer made her directorial debut on the set of the music video for the new single, “Complicated,” where she served as a producer and creative director.
