Mary J. Blige Shares Visual for “Breathing”

Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige is back with a new smash entitled, “Breathing.” The song features legendary rapper, Fabolous.

The new single released via Blige‘s label Beautiful Life Music and 300 Entertainment, was produced by S. Dot and samples Screaming Jay Hawkins’ single, “I Put A Spell On You.”

 She shared the following with PEOPLE about the new single:  “The story behind the track is what I’m doing finally, which is living, breathing, enjoying my life and celebrating the happiness and freedom I have that life brings.”  “Breathing” follows Blige’s uptempo 2023 single “Still Believe In Love,” which featured rapper, Vado.

The R&B icon plans to release her 15th studio album this year — she tells PEOPLE that it may be her last (we certainly hope not!).
