Kirby Shares Visual For “Thick & Country” ft Akeem Ali

Singer-songwriter and Mississippi native, Kirby has released the music video for her latest single, “Thick n Country.” 

The song features fellow Mississippi native and rapper Akeem Ali. “Thick & Country” is a nod to beautiful, naturally-curvaceous Southern women.  Kirby opens with the question, “Have ya’ll ever been to Mississippi?”  She goes on to express that the Magnolia State has  “the most beautiful women I’ve ever personally seen, myself.“

The R&B/Soul artist sings, “Red cup sippin’ with my cousins in the back/ Ripped up shorts and an ol’school Cadillac/ I’m thick n country / Oh, baby say he like my body like he like my accent — thick!”

“Thick & Country” follows Kirby‘s release, “The Man” which dropped in June.  Both singles will be featured on her forthcoming album due out this year. 

Kirby’s “Thick & Country” is currently available via all digital streaming platforms.
