King Sis’ New Album Follows Her 2024 Release ‘Ascension D’Lux ‘
R&B singer and songwriter, King Sis has released her new album, LTTP – Late To The Party.” The project is released via Epidemic Sound.
King Sis released her debut album, Ascension in 2021, with the deluxe version of the album following in 2024.
Her new album, LTTP was led by the single, “I Forgot.” On the song, Sis reminds her lover that he’s been away so long that she’s forgotten the things about him that made her love him in the first place. She sings: “You want to pick up where we left off, but you’ve been gone away / You’ve been gone away so long / I forgot your middle name, I forgot your birthday/ You still wear cologne the same? / Loved it in the worst way, you’ve been gone away / Since you’ve been gone away so long, I forgot.”
The project has something for everyone like the upbeat lead single, “LTTP – Late To The Party” to the vulnerable, “Trust Someone“ and the reflective ballad “Worth The Wait” — a track that features MiMi Bangoura.
King Sis shared via her social media about releasing the album on October 10th: “The number 10 often symbolizes completeness and wholeness and connects to concepts of time, cycles, and ambitions. LATE TO THE PARTY came from a conversation I had with my cousin about starting certain things later in life than most people – career endeavors, having kids, home ownership, etc. This album explores some of the reasons why; but also acknowledges that at the end of the day, the party don’t start til we get there anyway.”
Producers include @eerahj @tildenparc @donvayei @timothyinfinite @wassup_maine @auxillaryjack @rad.is.art @sayesystem with co-writers @tildenparc @victoriaalkin @mimmibangoura. King Sis never disappoints and this new album is no exception! This is one you can put on and just let it flow, no skips.
