Kaylan Arnold Shares The Visual For “Joy”

Kaylan Arnold has released the visual to her latest single, “Joy.”

The Belizean and Haitian singer-songwriter, producer and instrumentalist’s sound is the perfect fusion of Reggae, Jazz and Hip Hop music— the Reggae and Jazz influences can definitely be found on the  new single.  “Joy” was written by Kaylan and produced by Silky Walks Disco as part of the Sandy Park Riddim.

The gifted indie artist recently performed the single during  Reggaeville Festival’s Kingston Sessions, and on Jamaica’s morning show,  Smile Jamaica – TVJ.  In the new music video directed by Mirko Polo, Kaylan can be seen frolicking along the beach and taking in the sights of Jamaica, while singing the inspirational and motivational lyrics:  “This joy I feel is a long time coming / It’s up to me, and I won’t run from it / I will let the sun shine down on me / And when I’m looking in the mirror, I love what I see.”

Kaylan‘s latest album, If You Say So,  which features production from the likes of Jermaine Dupri (“Conceited,”)  Kalvin Hobbs (“LMG,”) Bruce Beats (“I Am,“) among others, was voted i-RNB’s Best Indie R&B Album of 2024.
