Joyce Wrice Shares Visual For “Break Me In”

The New Single Is The First Since Wrice’s 2022 EP, Motives

R&B singer-songwriter, Joyce Wrice has shared the music video for her latest single, “Break Me In.”

The single is the first release form Wrice‘s forthcoming sophmore album to be released later this year.  The album will follow her 2021 full-length album, Overgrown

Produced by Malik Ninety Five and Mike Baretz, “Break Me In” is reminiscent of early 2000’s R&B music.  On the track, Wrice sings of her longing to be touched by that special someone.  She sings:  “I hate it when you make me wait/ When I touch myself, it’s not the same.  I need you to break me in.”  The video,  directed by Sarah Dattani Tucker, is a beautifully-shot, minimalist concept which seems to tribute Beyonce‘s “Crazy In Love” video with Joyce’s attire of a simple white tee, denim shorts and white heeled pumps.
