Triple-Threat JAYDON Proves That He Has Staying Power On New EP ‘Me, My Songs & I ‘
R&B newcomer, JayDon has shared his debut EP, Me, My Songs & I. The artist who became first known to the masses when he starred in The Lion King as the voice of young Simba, shared a new project which features 10 tracks showcasing his smooth tenor vocals and seamless blend of retro and new-age R&B. The 18-year-old got an assist from industry heavy-hitters, including songwriters Felisha King (formerly of Cherish) and Whitney Phillips. Production contributions came from Harv, Blaq Tuxedo, Andre Harris, and Triangle Park. The project is released via Zoo/mega/gama and executive-produced by R&B icon Usher and music executive L.A. Reid, who co-own mega.
JayDon kicked off the release of his new EP with viral single “Lullaby,” a collaboration with rapper Paradise—the talented artist recently delivered a show-stopping performance of the single on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Other standout songs from the new project include the Usher-sampling “I’ll Be Good,” “Until I Deserve You” and the club-banger “Boujee Baby” produced by Blaq Tuxedo.
