R&B group Jagged Edge just released their latest album, All Original Parts, Vol. 1 on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025.
The group released the first single from the album, “Just Might Get It” written by group members Brian Casey and Brandon Casey last month, and shared the music video in conjunction with the albums’ release.
All Original Parts, Vol. 1 follows Jagged Edge’s 2020 project, A Jagged Love Story which included singles, “Decided,” “Genie,” and “Long Haul” among others.
Brian shared about the single “Just Might Get It“: “The beautiful thing about ‘Just Might Get It’ is how a single title can inspire entirely different perspectives. Brandon’s writing captures this perfectly. His take is telling the girl, ‘You keep asking for my time, and I’m giving it to you—now, what are you going to do with it? Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it.’ ” The R&B group recently performed the new single along with their hit, “Let’s Get Married” on the Tamron Hall Show.
The new project, inspired by themes of love, resilience, and personal growth, is released via the group’s Jagged Edge music label and includes 15 tracks. In addition to the new album, Jagged Edge is headed on tour for An Evening with Jagged Edge: 25 Years of JE Heartbreak kicking off in March 2025, with the following dates:
