IAMDDB Shares Visual for “Cry Baby”

Multi-talented indie recording artist and musician, IAMDDB has dropped the visual for her latest single, “Cry Baby.”

The multi-dimensional musician, actress, and creative polymath describes her sound as one“inspired by the rhythmic incantations of Jazz, the pulsating beats of Hip-Hop & Trap, and the soul-stirring vibrations of R&B.” She has collaborated with Masego & Diplo, toured with Jhene Aiko, Bryson Tiller and the legendary, Lauryn Hill!

On the soulful lullaby, “Cry Baby,”  DDB serenades us while challenging us to look deeper inside  to find the strength to persevere — even when we feel like crying. She sings, “Sometimes, I wanna cry / but I, hold it together, keep it moving/some days I wanna give up/ some days I, keep it G / and keep it moving.  Wake up in the morning and I’m giving thanks (thank you, thank you, Jah) / To the Higher power / He keeps me standing...”

The beautifully-animated visual was created by Thamana Choudhury. “Cry Baby”appears on DDB‘s album,  Love is War, released earlier this year.
