Hit-making 90’s R&B groups Hi-Five and H-Town have linked up for a new single entitled, “Slow Grind” via Bronx Most Wanted Entertainment and SRG/ILS Group.
Hi-Five, consisting of group members: Marcus Sanders, Shannon Gill, Treston Irby, Billy Covington and Faruq Evans, last released music in 2016 with the single, “Kit Kat” featured also on their 2017 album, Legacy. Original lead singer of the group, Tony Thompson, passed away in 2007.
The R&B group, H-Town was founded in 1990 by brothers Keven “Dino” Conner and Solomon “Shazam” Conner along with their friend Darryl “G.I.” Jackson. The latter two are the remaining members, as Dino was killed in an automobile accident at only 28 years old. H-Town have continued to be active over the years releasing singles and collaborating with fellow 90s R&B group, Kut Klose on the single, “Lose Control” from their 2021 album, Date Night.
On the new collaborative single, the gentleman bring us that reminiscent R&B that we will always love.
