Hailey Kilgore Shares New Single “Ghost”
The Power Book III: Raising Kanan Actress Talks Heartbreak On New Song
Singer and actress, Hailey Kilgore recently released a new single entitled, “Ghost.”
The multi-faceted artist shared via her Instagram page about the creation of the new song, “I have been healing from a terrible heartbreak for the last year and it has not been easy. Whenever I was having a super rough time I would just bury myself in my work, so I could avoid the pain I was feeling. During the first few months of the healing process, I was so so angry; mad that I fell in love, frustrated that no matter what I did it wouldn’t work out, and deeply hurt that I gave my heart to someone who not only didn’t deserve it, but misused it. I wrote my best songs during that time but I didn’t feel ready to bring them to life. When the strike hit I finally had to stop hiding. I went into the studio and let it all go…”
The new single follows Kilgore‘s debut EP Desire and Devotion released earlier this year. The talented singer and actress will resume her role as “Jukebox” on the Starz series, Power Book III: Raising Kanan on December 1, 2023.
“Ghost” is currently available on all digital streaming platforms.
