Goapele Shares Visuals for New Single “Purple”
Actor Omari Hardwick Stars In The Damien Sandoval – Directed Music Video
Veteran R&B songstress, Goapele recently shared the music video to her latest single, “Purple.” The new song follows her previously released single “Time Heals.”
The singer shared with theGrio, “I’m someone with synesthesia, like where my senses are blended. And it was such a vivid kind of visual and atmosphere that we’re like, ‘we got to put purple in the lyric’ because it just feels like purple haze is like all around you, immersing you.”
The Damien Sandoval-directed music video shows the singer serenading and embracing her love interest played by former Starz Network POWER star, Omari Harwick. The pair also appeared in the 2012 film, Sparkle.
“Purple” will appear on Goapele‘s forthcoming album, COLOURS due out this fall on Skyblaze Recordings.
