Girlfriend Releases Visual For “Sticky Situation”

R&B singer-songwriter Girlfriend is back with a new single titled, Sticky Situation,” via Encore Recordings.

Born Kenya Edwards, the Mississippi-bred storyteller is carving out her own lane in R&B— one masterfully-written lyric at a time! The talented artist released her debut EP, It’s Complicated earlier this year, which featured the popular singles, “Emergency” and “Obsessive.”

On her latest single, Girlfriend wrestles with her need for a lover who is not always available for her, she sings: “What is love? /I’m in a… sticky, sticky situation/And I know where this could go, so I won’t fold (maybe, I will)/ Cause I think your favorite letters is P.M./ That’s when you need it/Oh, how convenient...”

Released today, October 24th, the new single was shared with an accompanying official visualizer and is currently available via all digital streaming platforms.
