The Project is Released Via Awe Me Entertainment, in Partnership with 630 Productions
R&B vocalist and songwriter Dondria has released a new EP entitled, “Perspective.” The project is released via the artists’ own newly-formed label. Dondria shares of the eight tracks on her new EP, “Most of the songs on the ‘Perspective’ EP are very personal to me and have a dual perspective or meaning.”
‘Perspective’ includes two features: Avery Sunshine on “You & I” and Josh Bias on “What I Need.” She shared of the latter, “Josh and I have been friends for years, and he knows I love getting with my girlfriends and having a good time. So, we decided to record a fun song that reveals that side of me!” The Dallas, TX native garnered a huge following years ago when she got her start covering songs on her YouTube channel under her nickname, Phatfffat. She would go on to sign with Jermaine Dupri‘s SoSo Def label and release her debut project, Dondria vs. Phatfffat on So So Def/Geffen.
These days in addition to her music, Dondria has also started writing a book of poetry called, In The Dark and she also plans to launch a health and wellness podcast this Spring called Detox With Dondria, with a mission to assist ambitious women and professionals with detoxing from thoughts, habits, and expectations that no longer serve them; but create space for things and people who do.
Dondria‘s new EP ‘Perspective‘ is currently available via all digital streaming platforms.
