Bryson Tiller Joins The R&B Mogul On The First Release Via His Love Records Label
Music mogul and founder of the iconic Bad Boy Records, the legendary Diddy is back with a brand new record label, Love Records.
The label is in conjunction with Motown under exclusive license to UMG. The Harlem, NY native previewed the new single, which features R&B artist Bryson Tiller, at the 2022Billboard Music Awards back in May. “Gotta Move On” is believed to address Diddy‘s 2018 break up with R&B artist, Cassie.
“Music has always been my first love, Love Records is the next chapter. It’s about getting back to the love and making the best music of my life.” – Diddy
Tiller sings on the new track, “You found a new man, so I gotta move on/Guess you got a new agenda, with someone you barely know/I won’t say you’re wrong/Guess you had to move on.” With Diddy adding, “Get in your bag; stay in your bag.”
The hit-making artist shared in a press release earlier this year, “For the label, I’m focused on creating timeless R&B music with the next generation of artists and producers. Motown is the perfect partner for my album and I’m excited to add to its legacy.”
It was recently announced that Diddy will be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 BET Awards. The new single is the first release from a forthcoming LP to be released via Diddy‘s new label.
“Gotta Move On” is available via all digital streaming platforms.
