Anita Baker Sings National Anthem At The NFC Championship Game
Baker Will Also Kick Off A New Tour On February 11, 2023 in Florida
R&B and Jazz music icon, Anita Baker blessed the Philadelphia Eagles with a performance of the “The Star-Spangled Banner” ahead of Sunday’s NFC Championships!
The Detroit, Michigan native sang at the special request of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who shared earlier in the season that part of his post-victory routine was listening to Baker’s music. He told a reporter after a win in Chicago, “I put my Anita Baker on and take this flight home, and try to enjoy my teammates.”
It’s been three years since Anita Baker concluded her “farewell” tour; however, fans were not ready to see her retire. Thankfully for us, she listened. Baker is working on new music and she will kick off a 15-date tour on February 11. 2023 in Hollywood, Florida.
