i-RNB Is A Platform Exclusively For Independent R&B And Soul Music Artists!

i-RNB (formerly AMN Magazine) was created exclusively for independent R&B and Soul music.  AMN Magazine started as a digital publication in 2010; however, after high demand to go to print, the publication was available in print just two years later in 2012 – with a dual cover that featured R&B legend, Bobby Brown on the digital issue and  R&B songstress, Tamia would cover the first-ever print issue of AMN Magazine

The publication, started by music lover Lisa Green, would go on with availability both digitally and in print.  The magazine also enjoyed an international subscriber base—with copies shipped to Japan, Australia, Spain and nearly every state in the United States!  Green has interviewed more than 50 of the most influential artists in R&B and Soul music.

“I started this publication because I was no longer seeing the R&B artists who I have known and loved, featured on the pages on mainstream magazines or music television platforms. So, I decided to create a home for indie-label R&B music artists!” – Lisa Green,  interview with ‘The Just Wake Up Morning Show’

When during an interview with New York’s The Just Wake Up Morning Show asked her inspiration for creating the publication, Green responded: “I named the magazine Amethyst Music News, as the amethyst stone (my birth stone) is believed to calm and bring forth relaxing energy.  That’s also what good R&B music does for me!  So, I felt the name was fitting.  When I started AMN, I had great aspirations for it, but the way that it [the magazine] has been received, embraced, and respected as a reputable indie R&B publication far exceeded any expectations that I could have imagined.”  I started this publication because I was no longer seeing the R&B artists who I have known and loved, featured on the pages on mainstream magazines or music television platforms. So, I decided to create a home for indie-label R&B music artists!”

Green has convered R&B music events, by invitation, for  Essence Music FestivalSoul Train Music Awards and Black Music Honors, among others.

In 2024 the music media platform was rebranded i-RNB (Indie RNB)  i-rnb.com.  i-RNB will continue its commitment to supporting indie-label and up-and-coming R&B and Soul music artists!
