The Much-Anticipated Ralph Lauren Show In The Hamptons
NYFW has now wrapped and it was one for the books! The fashionable week included shows from Tory Burch, Christian Siriano, Badgley Mischka, Harlem Fashion Row, Jason Wu, Ralph Lauren and more.
And some of the biggest names in the industry of film, music and entertainment were front and center including Lil’ Kim, Cyndi Lauper and Tiffany Haddish at the Christian Siriano show; Alanis Morissette, Kyrie Irving and Nia Long at 3.1 Phillip Lim; and Michelle Williams, Elizabeth Olsen, and Jodie Turner-Smith at Tory Burch. However, the biggest and most anticipated show of the season was Ralph Lauren‘s.
With a 250-person guest list of A-listers including Usher, H.E.R., Jude Law, Colman Domingo, Andra Day and first lady and guest of honor, Jill Biden, among others. The show took place on September 5, 2024 at Khalily Stables in Bridgehampton, New York.
Mr. Lauren said in a press release about the Hamptons: “It’s a natural world of endless blue skies, the ocean, green fields, and white fences, rusticity and elegance with a quality of light that drew artists here decades ago. It has been home, my refuge and always an inspiration.”
Legendary models Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington were among the models to hit the runway for the 20-minute show that featured looks from the legendary designer’s Ralph Lauren Collection, Purple Label— tailored suits, blazers, and shirts in coastal blue, white, and sand hues and Polo Ralph Lauren— trousers, riding-style boots and belts, and brighter colors inspired by 1980s designs. In short, the Ralph Lauren show was arguably, the best show of Fashion Week!
